Here we’ve got another review of our side kick. This kick is extremely important as it serves as an essential foundation for multiple other kicks.
This will also be a breaking kick for a yellow belt to test for their green stripe.
The Back Kick
To complete your training at the green stripe level, the back kick is the main fundamental kick you are tested on, as well as the other kicks you’ve learned along the way.
Jumping Back Kick
To add onto the previously learned back kick, the jumping back kick is a dangerous kick when mastered. This will be used as the technical breaking kick for promotion to blue stripe.
Spin-Hook Kick
Commonly referred to as the “360”, this is an extremely fun kick and can be deadly especially when aimed to the head of an opponent.

A jumping spinning hook kick is a technique that involves leaping, spinning in mid-air, and executing a sweeping hook kick with the rear leg towards an opponent's head or body.
Tornado Kick
A tornado kick, also known as a 360-degree roundhouse kick, is a spectacular Taekwondo technique where the practitioner spins their body in a full circle before executing a powerful roundhouse kick, typically aimed at the head or torso of an opponent.
