FAQ'S

What should we bring to our first class?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing, bring a water bottle, and come with a positive attitude.

Is there a number to call if we’re having trouble finding the entrance?

Yes — you can call or text 780‑242‑4885.

Is the school accessible for people with mobility challenges?

There’s no formal ramp, but the building is ground-level. With some assistance, wheelchairs can enter. Let us know in advance if you need special accommodations.

Do you have a waiting area for parents?

Yes — there’s a small seating area, plus a table with coloring and Lego for younger children.

Can parents stay and watch class?

Absolutely! Parents are welcome and encouraged to watch, as long as they allow the instructor to lead without interruption.

How do I sign up for a free trial?

Just message us directly or fill out the form online. We’ll confirm a time that works.

What’s included in a free trial class?

They’ll get to join a full class, meet the instructor, and try some beginner techniques. It’s a low-pressure intro to the program.

Can we bring a friend to try the class too?

Yes! Just let us know in advance so we’re prepared. You can even bring a few friends.

What happens after the trial?

We’ll follow up to see how it went. If it’s a good fit, we’ll walk you through registration and scheduling.

Can my child watch the first class instead of joining?

Yes. If they’re interested but unsure, they can watch as many times as they need until they feel ready to participate.

How are classes grouped?

Classes are grouped by age, but advanced younger students may be bumped up.

Do you offer beginner classes for every age?

Yes — every class is adjusted based on who shows up. We adapt the lesson to suit all levels.

My child has done martial arts before — do they start over?

It depends. If they’ve trained in Taekwondo and can demonstrate their skill level, we’ll honor their belt. Otherwise, we’ll place them where they’ll succeed best.

Can siblings train together?

Only if they belong in the same age/skill group. Otherwise, they’ll be placed appropriately.

Are there advanced or competitive options?

Yes — we have a competition team that trains Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.

How long does it take to earn a belt?

It depends entirely on the student’s effort and consistency.

Do you teach character development?

Yes — we emphasize discipline, confidence, emotional regulation, and respect as much as physical skills.

What should my child wear to their first class?

Just athletic clothing and bare feet.

Do we need a uniform right away?

Not immediately — most get one within the first month.

What if we need to reschedule our trial?

Just let us know. We’re flexible — but keep in mind we will follow up automatically until you attend.
